1939 Olds Series "60" 2dr Sports Roadster Convertible,

6 cylinder 215 cubic inch, column shift manual transmission and coil sprung rear suspension.
Fully restored to original condition 6 yrs ago and travelled 960 kilometres since restoration.
There were only 10 Roadster convertibles built at GMH Woodville Sth Australia.
The Roadster bodied cars largely share the same body as the Chevrolet Master and Pontiac Roadster’s.

General Motors - Holden’s offered 2 models and 3 body styles of 1939 Oldsmobile here in Australia,
these being the Sedan, Sloper and Roadster on the short 115" wheelbase Series "60" chassis, and just a four door Sedan on the more expensive Series "70" (120" wheelbase) chassis. The Sloper, Coupe and Roadster body, are particular scarce models today. There is only two Roadsters known in existence in Australia from 10 that were originally built.
